Letter to Expectant Parent(s)

Thank you so much for taking the time to view our blog!  We are so grateful for your interest in adoption and are amazed by your unselfishness.  We in no way understand how you feel but we do know how much a parent loves their child.  In knowing this we look up to your strength and courage.  We hope that you feel peace in your decision whatever it may be.

We have struggled for years with infertility, miscarriages, and a high risk pregnancy with Hudson, resulting in an emergency cesarean section at 33 weeks.  Throughout our journey there have been many influences and experiences that have lead our hearts to adoption.  We are so grateful to finally be able to start this adventure and can't wait to get to know you and your child.

We are so lucky to have extended family close on both sides.  We spend every Sunday at one of our parents house.  We get together often and talk to all of our siblings often.  There are lots of grandchildren on both sides of our families a total of 33 all together.  Some of the things we love doing as a family are camping, horse riding, snowmobiling, biking, hiking, movies, traveling, swimming, and playing sports.  Brady and I (Jenna) have played coed softball together for the last 6 years.  We have loved being able to do this together.

Hudson is active and loves to join us on most all of our adventures.  He is 3 and has an outgoing personality like his Dad.  He loves going to the Library to get new books and enjoys story time.  He also loves to tell stories, especially nursery rhymes.  We spend a lot of our time running and hiding from Beast, grizzly bears, and big bad wolfs.  He loves to laugh and makes friends easily.  He is anxious and excited for our family to grow and he can't wait to share his "crib room" with a new baby.

JENNA(as told by Brady)
Jenna has a large heart and a lot of love to give. This is a great indication why she has been successful in her career, personal life, and the best mother and wife.  I know many say their significant other is the perfect spouse, but I feel she is a great  spouse and mother for the following reasons: She always puts us first and concerned what is best for us in a given situation, she's a great cook and always takes time to prepare nutritious meals for us, I love when I come home from work and she and Hudson are building forts, playing tag, or hiding under the covers in his bed because a dinosaur is getting them, painting pictures, playing  at the park or have been to the library, just sitting together cuddling and telling stories, etc. Jenna makes their time together meaningful and a learning experience as well.

I wanted to marry a woman who shared my same hobbies so we could make memories together and as a family. Lucky for me, I found that special girl, who was raised in a similar environment that likes to play sports, is competitive, loves the outdoors, isn't afraid to get dirty, and still looks like a million bucks.  Jenna is a natural leader and stands up to what she believes in. She is also adventurous, loyal, brave, fair, logical, and is very honest. She is great at pushing herself to be better and when she puts her mind to something, she performs her best to achieve the finest results.

I admire so many things about Jenna, but the few that I admire most are the following: her affectionate love and doesn't hesitate to show or tell us, her craftiness and love for design and making our home look great, her thoughtfulness and doing nice things for others, her strong work ethic- the best nurse around, and her tight-knit relationships with her parents and sisters. They are her best friends.

BRADY(as told by Jenna)
Brady has a killer smile with a personality to match.  His laugh is never forgetable and often loudly heard, even when it probably shouldn't be ;)  I've never met someone who doesn't love Brady.  He is the ultimate friend and I love telling people he is my husband.  He works hard at maintaining friendships and genuinely cares about everyone he meets.  He loves spending time with his friends sharing many hobbies like snowmobiling, dirt biking, sports of all kinds, and talking.

Although Brady loves his friends his main focus is family.  He works hard to provide for our family and he also works hard to help us make lasting memories.  Brady takes time each morning playing, reading, and eating breakfast with Hudson.  This is so important to their relationship and Hudson adores his Daddy.  Family has always been important to Brady and I noticed this when we were first dating.  He is the ultimate uncle on both sides of our family.  Taking time to play with the younger kids and connecting with the older ones.  He is always there for them to give advice or cheer them on with their latest adventure.
